Transitition is often difficult at the least. I remember when the kids were growing up. Christmas was so full of excitement over THEIR excitement! Now they are in college. Don't even hear from one of them much. The other is around, but so busy that he's not around. Some of you get that.
On to new things. Sometimes, I know, we have to search for new meanings to old traditions. It just doesn't fall in our lap. Still, I've always thought of this holiday time as family time. It's time to get to know self. We often spend so much time knowing family and involving ourselves with family that we forget to know self. To do that, you just need two people there. That's the smallest group you can have. You can't have one. When you get to two people, you can then find self.
You know who the other one is. How can you not know, for Christ's sake!
